I have lots and lots of baby clothes, toys and other fun baby things. I will have some dog houses, a random car transmission, a heavy wrought iron door and loads of other things, come and take a peek and help me get rid of my extra things!!!!

Ryan is now three months old!! I cannot believe it!! time flies when you are having fun. I am now back to work and wish i could stay home with my babies!! yes I still consider Elise my baby. Ryan is growing like a weed and getting so cubby. His cousin who was born 4 days before him, used to look like he was 1-2 months older than Ryan! thats because Ryan was still so small, but I guess when your baby actually gets food he can grow pretty well!! :) so now that Ryan is getting the right amount of food, he now looks chubbier than his cousin!! ya for Ryan.

We have listed our home......AGAIN.......we will see what happens this time. Jeremy has put in for a position with his company in Pennsylvania!! so if he gets it we will really need to sell it!! I will keep you all updated as to what happens with that

Baby Ryan finally is here!! He showed up early monday morning, the 31st that is, not this morning!! He was 7lb, 9oz 20 1/2 inches long!! It was a great experience and with this one, I can understand why women would want to have an epidural. Of course it was painful with Elise, BUT you forget HOW much it hurts!! But I was thinking by the time I wanted the pain the go away it was almost over so I wouldn't have been able to have an epidural anyways!! so I guess I will just continue having natural births!............that is if I have any more ;) at this point I will just get used to having two kids!! Well with Jeremy in the picture I guess I have three!! just kidding!! Jeremy takes care of me more than I take care of him so it might be said that he has three kids now!! n-e-ways Go to my facebook page to see the pics of my darling baby boy and his sweet big sister!!!

40 weeks & two days!!

Well hello again all!! I didn't realize that some people read my blog!! yea!! that makes me feel a whole lot better!! So thanks to all my friends who look at this blog. First of all I am posting on my blog because STILL I have NO idea how to work facebook!! I am feeling more technologically challanged with each passing day. The more they come out with new stuff the farther I fall behind. but oh well I don't feel like I am missing out on anything :) SO on to my reason for posting today. I am now two days overdue and am completely flabbergasted as to why!! I mean I understand that a due date can be off two weeks either way, but I know the exact day that I conceived this little guy so things should be coming any time soon!!! I mean come on Ry guy!! there are so many wonderful things in this world to experience!! Don't you want to expereince them all!!

Which brings me to my next point. everyone PLEASE stop asking me when I am going to pop!!! I really feel fine and in reality I know he will come when its time, but I am sick of being looked at like a ticking time bomb!!! and please stop asking me if I have tried this or tried that to induce labor!! I HAVE TRIED IT ALL..... except for the whole castor oil thing.,.......:p I am not sure I will try that one. Well I just realized what time it is and I have to run to my midwifes office to see what the heck is going on with this little one!!!

For those of you who don't know, I am 33 weeks pregnant!! I am so excited because I have made it past the time when i had Elise so early!! I had her at 30 weeks 6 days. so just a day shy of 31 weeks!! So I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting to get past that point in this pregnancy. I DID IT!!! so obviously pregnancy and labor and birthing have been on my mind alot lately and for those of you who don't know, I am going to be delivering at home!! I am doing a home birth. I wanted to do this with Elise but she had other ideas. which is ok because Elise needed to come her own way. I have a feeling that this one will be a little more cooperative. It is a boy and we are going to name him Ryan James!! isn't that a great name!! James is Jeremy's middle name. I have no idea if anyone but myself reads my blog. maybe, maybe not but its a place where I can express myself. almost like a journal but with the added benefit that maybe someone somewhere will read my thought.

Which brings me to why I am posting today!! I have been reading A LOT about birthing techniques and labor, both in the hospital and out of it. and something hit me the other day. most articles I have read or peoples opinions I have read on different blogs and some of my friends opinions have been that labor is SO hard and oh so painful. which don't get me wrong it is hard and painful. But from my experience with elise, its not THAT painful. at least not to the point where you have to have medical intervention in the form of an epidural. I mean if you go in prepared with knowing what your body is going through and what it might feel like, then its pretty managable. I am not saying its the most pleasure I have felt in my life, no way. it is painful. but I was able to get through it and be able to be in control of my daughters birth in stead of having to have someone else tell me when to push and not being able to feel anything from the waist down (that thought scared me more than the pain did!! I didn't want to feel like I was paralyzed!!) call me crazy. so back to my point. in all the stories these days that I have heard about people labors and briths is that they are started.... What? started? in all the reading i have done, the body knows what its doing and will go on its own..... but then how do they start them? with pitocen. a drug that is known to make labors longer and contrctions harder. The doctors know this about pitocen but do they tell the unsuspecting pregnant mothers this? NO! all that poor mother knows is that she is uncomfortable and ready for the baby to come out and the doctors want things to happen on THEIR schedule. NOT the bodies..... so they induce a labor when the body is not fully ready to have this baby and because its not progressing fast enough for them, they give them MORE pitocen! and then because of the pit the contractions are so hard and painful that the mothers can't (or don't want) to handle the pain and so they ask for an epidural to take the pain away. so then what happens? the labor all but comes to a screeching halt because the epidural block the body's natural cheical that makes it go into labor. then because it stops, they give more pitocen and more pitocen to get labor started again!! so then again contractions become harder and more intense than they ever should or could have been had they let themselves go naturally!!

Don't women see the correlation between these hard and painful labors and being started? and having the doctors give them pitocen and these super painful hard long contractions?!?!?! C'MON WOMEN OF THE WORLD!! EDUCATE YOURSELF AS TO WHAT YOUR BODY IS GOING WHEN YOU GET PREGNANT AND REALIZE YOUR POTENTIAL AS A CO-MAKER WITH HEAVENLY FATHER!! You can do SO MUCH more than this new overly medical-zed world will tell you about unless you educate yourself.!!!

ok enough of me being on my soapbox!! but hey isn't this my blog? don't I ge to talk about whatever I want to on MY blog?!!

She is also starting to say "I do it" or "I did it" to get us to let her do something!! she is adorable.

FINALLY THE UPDATE YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!! I figure that since the last picture.....way back in......well i am not sure when the last time I put a picture on here was. but I am going to update you all with Elise's firsts. her first tooth, first time crawling, first time walking......you get the picture. so here goes nothing!

Life is dragging me by the ankles into the future and I am digging in with all my might to slow it down

So it just occurred to me that life is dragging me into the future and I don't wanna go!! life is going way too fast! Elise just had her 1st birthday on the 30th of October!! yea I said 1st people!! This past year just flew past and now my baby is turning into a little girl.

Yesterday we went to her one year well baby checkup, where the front desk lady gave us a 10 month questionaire. I was like "Uh, hello! she is one now!" but whatever I filled it out and she was doing everything on that list! So when Dr. Lau (her doc) came in I told her that they had given me the wrong one and she said it didn't matter because it gave her a good idea of where elise was in her development. AND GUESS WHAT!?!?!? We don't have to adjust her age anymore!! She thinks that she has caught up enough that we don't need to agjust her age anymore. whew! what a relief. I hated saying " well physicall she is this old but developmentally she is younger than that!!" and then having to explain that she was 9 weeks premature and blah blah blah.......

Needless to say she is doing fantastic!! at her nine month check up she was doing a little better percentile wise than she is now but still. she weighs 17lb 15oz!! and is 29" long!! so she dropped in her precentile to the 10th in weight and the 25th in height but HEY we don't have to adjust anymore!!

Halloween this year was a circus and we didn't even go trick or treating! of course elise is not old enough for candy yet! or rather I don't want her getting addicted to candy just yet and we definitelty were not going to eat what she got if we did go trick or treating. but we still had to go visit all the grandparents and go to the trunk or treat and figure out what Jeremy and I were going to be for Halloween.

Elise was a nutter butter! she looked so adorable. originally she was going to be a peanut but I couldn't find a costume that I liked so I ended up making one to look like a nutter butter but it actually ended up looking more like a peanut so it all worked out in the end.

I couldn't really think about what to be until I was in Elise's room and was looking at her bows and hair things and decided to be a bouquet of flowers using all of her flower barettes!! so I put all those in my hair and made my face look all glittery and wore a green shirt (for the stem) and brown pants (for the dirt)! I thought I looked cute. however no one else guessed what I was. Jeremy was the best! he went as a pregnant woman and used my hair extensions and my maternity clothes!! (yea that stings a little bit). we put this really bad make up on him. he looked really good and everyone loved it!!

I know I have not put any pics on for a while but I will try to get some on asap showing us all in our cute little outfits

More catch up!!

yea for me, I have a hard time keeping my blog updated only for the simple fact that I don't have the internet at home so I have to borrow my neighbors or go the library or go to kinko's to use the internet....... hmmmm maybe I should get it at home.

n-e-ways, just quick update and then pictures will follow later. We just had elise's 9 mth well baby check up where they had to prick her finger to check her iron levels. it was funny actually to watch because she didn't cry, she just looked at the lady like " What are you pinching my finger for? let GO!" then she wouldn't leave the bandaid alone!! it was hilarious.

she weighs 16lb 2oz!! along ways away from 3lb, 15oz!! she is 28 inches long!! she is going to be a tall girl. she is in the 90th percentile in her height for her adjusted age (from the date she was supposed to be born) and in the 50th percentile in her weigth for her adjusted age. She is 50th percentile in her height for her current age and the 25th percentile in her weight.

She is growing like a weed and they think that she will be caught up by 12-15 months. so she is doing fantastic!! she has two teeth with two more coming in as we speak!!! so thats it for now, more to follow.

We found out while we were there that Atlas is a stud and had sired some babies!! They are so adorable we just couldn't help ourselves........so we got one........ok we got two puppies.

But its a little piece of atlas so we couldn't resist

Ok so I am skipping a few months but I got these and wanted to put the most recent pics of our little on on here.

She is getting so big. at her last Dr's appt, she weighed 11lbs even and was 23 1/2 inches long. I have another appointment this thursday to get her another shot!! I hate that she has to get those. she is starting to talk (meaning she coo's a lot now) and has laughed a few times. :) so i thought that since she is such a happy baby that she would be ok doing pics. but she was just ok. granted it was a tiny bit cold outside and it was really bright and I tried to keep her shaded but somtimes it just didnt't work. any ways enjoy the cute pics

I never thought that finding someone to watch Elise while I went to work would be such a pain in the.....you know what!! I thought that I had someone lined up and then they withdrew their offer and then I found someone else and that turned out to be a really bad situation. just a note to all new mothers or soon to be mothers, just because someone is in your ward does not mean they are good people or should be watching little ones :( but that is a story for not such a public forum. Then every time I found someone to watch her, I would call to sign up and they would be full. Until finally I found Teisha Langford. We have only had her for a day babysitting but she seems to be AWESOME!!! I am excited to finally get a routine going for Elise.

Well all, I recently went back to work after almost 4 months of staying home with the baby. It was a pretty hard adjustment for me but I think that all will be well.

If there is anything that I have learned in my first few months as a mom it is this,

I never knew I could love someone so much

I never knew I had the capacity to love more than one person so much

I have the best husband in the world

I never knew my heart woudl break at seeing one tiny frown on my baby girls face

I HAVE THE CUTEST BABY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!! :)

Those are just some of the things that I have learned. most of which I haven't been able to put into words yes.

hopedully I will be able to update the pics on here because baby Elise has grown!!

Elise is finally home

Ok so this is about a month late in stating this, but our baby girl is finally home. she came home on the 2nd of Dec so we have had her home a little over a month now!! she is doing really good. we did have to take her home on an apnea monitor that tracks her breathing and heart rates. We had to do this because they sent her home on caffine!!! yes my baby is addicted to caffine now. I think that she is getting over it now, but it was rough there for about a week when we had stopped giving it to her. I think I have adjusted well to having my little one home, and let me tell you girls, you all need to be jealous of me. I have the greatest husband in the whole wide world!!! He gets up with her during the night and lets me sleep! What a stud!! I love my husband dearly!! he is so good with her too.

Our baby is finally here!!

Well we did it!!!! Our baby girl is here. albeit 8 weeks early but she is here and doing fantastic. She is still in NICU, but she is progressing really well. all she needs to do is just grow big and learn how to bottle feed and of course breastfeed and then she will be able to come home!! I miss her immensely and it is seriously weird not having a big belly any more. ok so I am going to put some more pics on this page so we can all see just how beautiful my baby really is. and just so everyone knows I did a completely natural birth. no drugs, nothing and I did fantastic. so for all those women out there who are going to be having babies. you can do it without medication!! you just have to be prepared and everyting will go great!! Learn your breathing techniques and things will go great! You can do it!!

Yes our home is for sale. Both Jeremy & I work in Bountiful and need to move closer. It has been a hard thing because we had to get rid of our babies to do so. Jeremy, his Atlas and me my Kitties :) We are asking 150,000 OBO. It was a complete mess when I moved in. But that is all changed now.
